This is our prize possesion "Turbo"
He is a ten year old desert tortoise.
We Found him in our back yard as he was hatching!
For the first week we left him alone ,But he stuck around.
Soon enough he was our new pet he came to the screen door everynight
for dinner and sure enough he got it..
Then for his first winter he was wandering around lost so we stepped in
we set up a tank for him to hibernate and sure enough he went right to the corner not to see him again for four months!
Ten years later he is a full
time free roaming pet.
We have made a very nice area
for him to spend his days in the sun basking
or takin a dip in his little
pond.And trust me he does love his pond.
Maybe some day we might breed
him but for now he is just a part of the family.
