Three weeks after
Bring the bus home,Its time to get going on Restoration.
I enjoyed driving
it soo much that I almost didnt start!
Stripped bare all the window rubber, lights and
seals GONE!!
Donor deck lid...Clean Motor 1776 runs REAL good(but
just wait)..Nice side shot!
Mildly Lowered with a wolfgang kit(that will
change) Interior a little rough(hehehe)..Alot of space to play!!
Nice starting point,No rust,No holes..No anything!
..The headliner is going to be FUN!!!
No major damage on this whole bus..Front view
looks good..
Now
off to the blasters,Unfortuneatly I screwed up i didnt get any pictures
of the bare metal bus!
But
let me tell you it looked realy good
Only
two major dings on the whole bus.Right rear corner(of course) and a dent
in the nose
There
was a decent amount of bondo on some spots on one side(drivers) it looked
like one of the previous owners ran into something,
But
the strange thing was the lack of any paint color?..it looked like someone
had blasted this bus sometime back got lazy and sprayed primer on the WHOLE
thing
inside
and out,I have been searching for an original color and i cant find it?,The
doors were off of a donor sometime ago,One was dove blue the other white
and tan.
The
rear engine lid was also a donor added by me,Side doors and rear cargo
door all original.I have treid to scratch off some primer inside to find
a color there isnt anything there its bare!!!
