She came home today 2/16/03
After
major nit picking on the "Finished" body work for the price paid i am not
HAPPY ONE bit!!
,They
quoted me $1800 to : finish bus to the point of rolling into a spray booth.OUTSIDE
& jams,
after
blasting the bus was straight NOT much realy needed to be done.
well
HALF way through He tells me we are already at $3000???
"what
the fuck do you mean it hasnt even been blocked yet??
We
come to an agreement i will pay their prices if the bus is done right,
I
have no problem paying for a GOOD job.
but
that wasnt going to be the case here..
they
left major dings that werent there from the start
,Didnt
use any pullers or hammers like promised,(ALL BONDO!)
DIDNT
EEVEN TOUCH ANY OF THE JAMS LIKE PROMISED,nose had some funny waves in
it?.oh shit its from when he welded the signals in,He warped them then
covered them with so much bondo it wasnt even funny.
Basicly
they just did a total shit job after some serious time was spent going
over everything by ME!
I
am a perfectionist,I have had and built many show cars that were top show
winners and they wrent near as important as this bus is to me,So i am now
furious with them, I paid for shit, I know you guys are asking well why
the HELL dont you take it back?
There
is a simple idea behind my NOT taking it back, IF they COULDNT do it right
the first time when they were happy about getting the work,
They
sure as hell CANT GET IT RIGHT THE SECOND TIME when they are pissed of
about me bitching.
So
I am better off just dealing with it another way, By the way I didnt pay
them what they wanted for the work,
Barely

So
now I need to learn body work,it is going back down to bare metal panel
by panel!!
everything
looks WAY straight though it is decieving ALL of the little
details were forgotten.
